We are go for launch!

Welcome!

Here we are, my first post of my new website! This is very exciting for me, to try and eke out a small space for myself as an independent speculative fiction author. Thanks for stopping by. So… about me:

Well, the brief bio is here, but the short short short version is that I’ve had stories and ideas in my head since I was in middle school, and I would always start these stories, whether on video, or as a comic book, or in writing. But I finished few of them, and as time marched on, I always had that slight nagging feeling in the back of my head of, “well, what if?”

So, this year, I turned “what if” into “why not?”. I started finishing up those stories, and got back into the ideas that once stretched my imagination. And today, I launch this site, as a way to engage with (what I hope) will be an audience of readers who can enjoy what I have to offer- yep, that’s you.Right now, it’s not much- just some short stories, and one novelette, but I have longer works in progress, and just started the Shattered Earth serial, which I think is going to be really great!

In many ways, writing is about me- it’s an escape, a place I love to go. But sharing it, well that’s about you. I hope you can enjoy these stories, that they are worth your time, and that they live up to your expectations. I plan to be fairly active here, posting on my progress, and thoughts on the process, so check back from time-to-time.
